"Dinner By Invitation Only" Event

Welcome, welcome, welcome

One word: AMAZING! A cloudy twilight evening in the heart of Salt Lake City rests a fantastic artistic home, full of various art mediums and the renovation full of delight. The color, creativity that illustrated this Main Street home is like relaxing in an art book. Add the Chefs from Caffe Niche and you get heavenly delights for the taste buds and your eyes. The 4 courses were mouth watering just to look at!

The main level: we all enjoyed the atmosphere of candlelight with dim lights above. The hum of clanking glasses, the senses enriched and conversation running - who wouldn't like this?!

The cherry on top of this delightful evening were the performers Jenny Frogley and Tommy Hopkins! They got us jamming and toe tapping with the variety of hits that we all love. What great talent and sharing for all of us to leave with an extra bounce to our step as we left. Last but not least thanks to Justin for making it all come together for a fabulous night to remember!

What a day!

Today I thought I would write a little. I don't mind journaling but I don't consider myself to be a "writer". With that said - here I go. I got some fantastic news about the opportunity to take pictures in Park City, Utah this Saturday. What an honor to be asked. I am excited, panicked at the preparation I need to get moving. I share this because as good as I am trying to be and am I want to be better. I want others to get to know me, not just as a photographer. I want you to know.... more of me. I like feedback but usually don't get it until I ask for it. I will post some fun of the event on here. I'm really looking forward to Saturday. I told my hubby it's a good thing that I was asked over an IM (instant message) because I was jumping up and down. He looked at me, happy for me but I could tell he was amused. No, I didn't win the lottery but I was acting like it. I guess my inner kid is still in there..... yes, I'm still smiling :). I planned on posting sooner but discovered my software to calibrate my monitor is not where I put it. Needless to say I am a little backed up on my editing because of that. So, no pictures today. Trying to do a little catch up. Enjoy your day!

Taylor

I thought I would take a break from the pictures of last year I've been posting, to show you something I just recently photographed. Meet Taylor. She's a friendly, smiley and very involved 2 yr old (as most 2yr olds are). These pictures are for her birthday. Caillou was the theme for pictures and the fun for her 2nd birthday. I was so excited to take advantage of good weather just before it got bad. I love how much fun we all had and Taylor's playful side came shining through! Thanks guys for letting me be apart of the fun :) Here's a few below:

Lynch Part 1

Another post I didnt get to put on til now - from last summer. This awesome family made my day with the variety we could do especially with how many that came! It was such a warm day that all of us were sooo thankful for the shade! Everyone had ideas what they wanted for their personal groups and I think it was a blast! I had so much fun. Thanks Lynch Family :)
